About Davide

I’m Davide, born and raised in the province of Bergamo in Italy, I have also lived in Dublin (Ireland) for quite some time. I practised competitive cycling for 13 years. Now after not having touched the bike for over fifteen years, I have embarked on a long journey across the Americas: North, Central and South, that turned into a round the world bike expedition with the intention to cross all the planet’s five continents: America, Africa, Asia, Oceania and Europe.

This website describes the preparation for my trip and recounts tales of my adventures along the way. It is a reference point for my family and all those friends, old and new, who want to follow my journey – or odyssey if you prefer.
